How to apply for a warm welcome grant 

The process to access the grant is short and straightforward. Helen Pearce, District Social Justice Officer, is pleased to provide support for the completion of applications: socialjustice@swpmethodist.org.uk

The process is as follows:

  1. Church contact completes and submits the short, on-line application form for their project.

  1. On receipt of the completed Church application form by the District, details and eligibility will be checked and confirmed.

 

  1. When the grant is approved, payment will be made by the District via BACS direct to the Church on the 15th of the month following the month of approval.

 

In order to ensure the best use of money, the grant funding will be allocated on a sliding scale. For those Church Warm Welcome spaces open once a month the grant is £250, fortnightly £375, once a week £500 and those open 3x and more a week £1000 grant.
