World Suicide Prevention Day Plymouth 2026 – You’re Invited

We’re delighted to invite you to join us again for this year’s World Suicide Prevention Day event in Plymouth.

We’ll once again be bringing people and organisations from across Plymouth together for an important day of learning, connection and conversation around suicide prevention.

This year’s event will bring together organisations including Samaritans, Pete’s Dragons, Jeremiah’s Journey, Livewell Southwest and Young Devon, alongside other local services and organisations offering support across our city.

The event is suitable for anyone who works with, supports, manages or cares for people. You don’t need to work within the mental health sector to attend.

We particularly welcome those working within businesses and HR, education, healthcare and social care, charities and community organisations, churches and faith groups, youth services and other public-facing roles, as well as parents, carers and members of the wider community.

Our previous World Suicide Prevention Day events have been very well attended, and one of the most valuable parts of the day is the opportunity to connect with other people and organisations working across Plymouth. It’s a chance to learn more about the support that is available locally, build relationships and understand where we can signpost people when they may need additional help.

Ultimately, we want more people across our city to know where to turn, and to help ensure that those who are struggling are able to find the right support when they need it most.

We would therefore be incredibly grateful if you could share this invitation with your colleagues, teams and any organisations or community groups you work with who may benefit from attending. The event is completely free, and we would love to reach as many people across Plymouth as possible.
