District Retreat 2027

Tuesday 9th – Thursday 11th February 2027at The Grand Hotel Sea Front, Torbay Road, Torquay, TQ2 6NT.

Open to Lay and Ordained Pastors and Employees, in the Bristol and South West Peninsula Districts. The total cost is £265 (50% District / 50% Circuit funded).

District Retreat 2025

The District Retreat took place on the 4th – 6th February 2025, at The Passage House Hotel, in Newton Abbott. This year, the theme was Time & Space … Self, Others & God. There were opportunities to explore different styles of prayer, as well as an invitation to take time and space to be by yourself, others and God.

These opportunities included: Divine Drumming, creativity and play, Ignatian meditation, worship using silent disco headphones, Faith on Foot: Walks of Wonder, singing and movement, Transforming Conversation, Celtic spirituality, labyrinths, communion, and devotions lead by the district team.
