Mark Cassidy plays Bert, the Property Steward of Hope Methodist Church, who finds sanctuary inside the walls of the church.

Mark has played many parts in his lifetime – some even on stage! Together with wife, Mimi, he also performs as Boo to a Goose Theatre, touring original shows across the South West.

Meg Blowey plays the sweet and quirky June. She is the organist for Hope Methodist Church and takes the minutes in the Stewards Meetings – when she remembers!

Meg trained at East 15 Acting school. She is the founder of UnRest Theatre, who work with survivors of domestic violence and other vulnerable women, to seek to empower through the arts.

Tessa Brockis plays God, known to the local community as Frances, the homeless person who sleeps by the entrance of Hope Methodist Church.

Tessa graduated at The Gaiety School of Acting in 2021. Based in the South West, she loves to play classic literature roles in theatre tours, short films and TV.

Arran R Hawkins plays Rev. Dan Fisher, the clumsy new Minister of Hope Methodist Church, who ruffles a few feathers whilst trying to encourage his congregation to be more welcoming to the community.

Arran began his theatre career 30+ years ago in Cornwall. He has since directed and performed internationally and is a regular at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Vickie Mogford plays Sandra, the Senior Steward of Hope Methodist Church, who has to steady the ship when the new Minister rocks the boat with his new ways of doing things.

Vickie has been on stage most of her adult life; she has directed locally and written and performed her own work around the country.
